Your channel isn't broken. It was never engineered.
Most channels die from guessing. Random topics, hopeful thumbnails, a posting schedule held together by guilt. Channel Engineer is where we stop guessing. Real systems, real teardowns, and a room full of people doing the work.
- First access before doors open
- Lowest price this will ever be
- No commitment to join the list

Figures as of October 2026. Built in public, receipts on screen.
It's almost never the camera.
People buy a better mic when the problem is the idea. Here's what actually kills channels, and what we fix inside.
Topics nobody searched for
You made the video you wanted to make. The algorithm noticed nobody wanted to watch it. We fix topic selection first.
Packaging as an afterthought
The title and thumbnail are the video, as far as YouTube is concerned. We build them before you hit record.
No system, just effort
Effort without a system is a hobby with a burnout date. We turn it into a repeatable weekly machine.
Nobody honest to tell you
Your friends say it's great. Your analytics disagree. The community tells you the truth, nicely, with data.
Pick how close you want to work.
Every level gets the room. The higher levels get more of my time, and there's only so much of that.

This is for some people. Not everybody.
A good fit if you
- Want to build a channel on purpose, not by luck
- Run a business and want YouTube to bring you customers
- Can take direct feedback without taking it personally
- Will actually publish (this is the hard part)
Probably not for you if you
- Want a guaranteed number of subscribers by Friday
- Are looking for someone to make the videos for you
- Think the algorithm is personally out to get you
- Need a done-for-you service (that's a different door, see below)
Matt Griffith.

I've been building companies since 1994. More than 30 of them. YouTube is the one I do full time now, on camera, from Bogotá.
I run The Americano, The Passport, and Places To Go, all monetized, plus The Nomad Podcast and Bazillions. I didn't inherit an audience. I built each one from zero, and I still get recognized in airports, which is mostly flattering and occasionally inconvenient.
Channel Engineer is the room I wish I'd had at the start. Less theory, more teardowns. You'll see exactly what I do on my own channels, including what didn't work.
The first group gets the best seat and the best price.
The list is free and there's no commitment. It just helps me size the room.
